if i continue procrastinating and not blog, my hatsuyuki will fade away into oblivion, and my avid readers (er, 2 or 3) will cry in despair that they no longer have any entertainment to speak of.
okay. so whats up? andy's birthday is coming, and im proud to say i worked hard with limited resources. haha! the party at joaquim was fun, dy had a great time acting cute and all that, while yt, jess, huiqi and i comtemplated on some pressing social issues like do you face the door or the wall when you pee.
japan is here, now, and though the sakura have all bloomed last thursday, perhaps the four of us can pick up the flowers on the floor when we go there. oh well, you win some you lose some. yt, dy and i slagged over the itinerary last weekend, and its really chock full of fun stuff we've been wanting and wanting to do. it has left me with the question: why do tour packages not bring you to the most fun stuff in tokyo. sure, you see mt fuji, tokyo tower, even go to tokyo disneyland, but what about the
ONSEN THEME PARK? (dont bother abt the japanese words, just scroll down) or the
SWEETS FOREST where they congregate all the best desserts in japan in one building for you to ooh and aah at? haha. im soo glad we're doing the trip by ourselves. these are the places ive heard mentioned in variety shows, and are places i definitely will not miss when im there.
went for an interview with NTU's HSS new major division, linguistics and multilingual studies. it went well, everything was fun, i guess it was because i didnt have expectations gg in, and therefore came out with a lot of new knowledge, and frankly, a bit of excitement in the course. the professor who interviewed me was nice, she was full of enthusiasm about the course, and i could see she wanted to get started with this new batch of students =) it was a great feeling.
busy busy busy nowadays.. graduation speech, interviews, and waiting for my stupid results to come out. heard we'll get it on apr 8, so *fingers crossed.
mariners have won their first game of the season at home. WOOHOO! but ichiro was 0 for 3. =(
love to put up some pictures, but fb just died on me. oh it works now.

new arashi song, not tt new anymore le, actually ^^" saw the music video at dy's house tgt with yt. wasnt tt great a PV, because i like the happy, playing style of their past PVs better.
i love this picture of the flyer. as you walked nearer to it, you could look up and the whole sky is filled with Flyer. haha. there's a popeyes outlet there, so tts even better. and the fish spa at kenko looks like funn, should do it one day. =)
went swimming today; so proud of myself. woohoo! but ten 50m laps only lah, not much. =P could feel myself panting at the end of the tenth, so i knew when to get out of the water. freak there was this ang mo lady who didnt really swim (as in she was breaststroking with the head above water) yet she could keep up with me splashing in my breaststroke. i think its got to do with long arms and legs. or maybe im really really slow. HAHA.
andre's off for his five-week adventure tomorrow, so it'll be a farewell lunch sort of thing for him tmr. haha. should be quite exciting for him man. i dunno how he's gg to spend only 1500 bucks on five weeks, but i guess one-pair-of-jeans-for-one-month guy can do it easily bah. >_<
at the aust uni showcase with jess and yt; seriously it is so much better than the one at orchard hotel idp set up. the people are friendlier, the booths are bigger, the applications are made easier with space for everyone to write their stuff and photocopy their transcripts. and with real representatives coming down from the university itself, who's to complain, right? so so so much better. we got to meet the arts faculty person from EVERY uni booth we visited. that was great, because we could ask them relevant questions about the course itself. best thing of it is, i got a confirmed yes, i would definitely have a place based on my results. how nice is tt! =) woul advise anyone else who wants to go apply for overseas universities to wait till the education showcase rather than squeeze with everyone else in orchard hotel's ballroom.

UPDATE! haha. i just bought a pair of onitsuka tigers; my mummy loves me...~ it was on sale and in my size, so i just had to grab them. and they were the last pair as well. $151.90, bought at $106 - 2007 winter holiday season shoe - MEXICO66 pink/white/purple. shiokers. i love them! they are really freaking pretty.and i can safely say raffles city's star three sixty has a wider collection than wheelock's branch. which is great, because there are great stuff. really satisfied with my purchase.
singapore flyer in two dayss! its at 730pm, so its great that it starts at night. super happy. dy will bring his camera, so rest assured we'll get some great pictures. actually wongleehong's most likely to bring his camera, so his pictures will be prettier. i think ill get the scenery pictures from him and other family shots from dy's cam.
and surprise, surprise, im so getting a haircut. since tt day when mawar told me i should get highlights in my hair, ive been thinking. havent done anything really, to my hair in years, so im considering..

woke up late again today. yippee. HAHA. and with the great sleeping-in weather (aka almost-raining weather) its a great feeling to wake up and turning over and falling back to sleep again.
lunch with the class and mr azhar yesterday, and it seemed every other class in the world decided to have seoul garden in the same place. it was a freaking monday afternoon, why was seoul garden packed? and you got to see the secondary school kids, it was hilarious. made you wonder whether we were like tt.
it was interesting walking down the shops with yuran and jess and yanting, because it was funny how in some cases our tastes can match so well, in others we just disagree so totally. haha.
after we left the rest, dy accompanied me shopping, he was the most patient guy ever when it came to shopping, really. i kept feeling guilty, because i take ages to decide over things. =) hmhm. so i got myself an esprit top, with the voucher i got.
going out to rafflees city today to look at more onitsuka tigers, but i think i would be buying the shoes from japan, because its much cheaper than in singapore. god, a norico model is SGD$100 there, but its selling for SGD$131.90 here, and not a new model at that.

PIXIEGIRL - 10, 500 yen - love the colour on this one, nice innit? haha
MEXICO66 - 12,500 yen - this is more expensive than what u see in singapore, though, its a new model.

yes, i know i havent been conscientious about blogging at all. and here i was scolding andy because he never updates or only blogs one line. okok, now tt ipp is officially over, im back! =) i completed my logbook yesterday *proud of myself
its a sunday, and a rest day for me. woke up at 8am again, but fell back to sleep and woke up at noon. >_< and rereading my agatha christies is a good way to spend the day, in my opinion. i know in a few weeks i'd get tired of this life, but now, i feel really contented. whee.
now to talk about something tts been in my mind but not really reflected on this blog - JAPAN. yep, yanting, darryn, andy and i are finally finally gg! woohoo! cnt cnt cnt wait. the places we want to go, all listed out.. plans to just throw ourselves in tt foreign country and enjoy ourselves to the max.
i do want a pair of onitsuka tigers. =) this is the ichiro limited edition. oh my god! pretty! but sold out in japan. what the eff. i love love it. it has the number 51 on the tongue. shiokers. maybe a trip down to wheelock or raffles city is in store. freak pretty shoes! =)) i havent got excited about sneakers or anything like it for ages now, but onitsuka tiger is one great brand.
good for walking around in japan eh. heheh. and i need a haircut or something, before i go. my hair's a terrible mess. and i love my marketing department in discovery because they got me a esprit voucher as a farewell present. love them! i know work was stressful and all that, but it worked out in the end, because they were all great people.
speaking of ichiro.. MLB is starting all over again! whoopeee~ just another two weeks, and i get to see ichiro, the yankees and other greats play. espn's started playing the promos for mlb season alr, and its gg to be great, as usual.
class gathering tomorrow. i miss my class a lot. A LOT. haha. so we get to see each other again tmr! yay!
